AverageI booked my dental hygienist appoint months ago ... I arranged my day around this. 29 minutes before my appointment. I received a phone call to say that I couldn't see the hygienist unless prescribed by a dentist. Never happened before and I always have booked the appointments independently. Either a new rule or they have just decided to apply it. Apparently some hygienist didn't need the prescription from a dentist. All very disappointing .... I am use to choosing when I see a dentist ... reminders welcome but my choice. This is different.
