not so sure of price structure

i had a problem with a tooth and as it was cracked would need an extraction £26.80.The tooth was removed a week later £73.50.Within two weeks the gum was inflamed i and after a further two weeks saw dentist who said it would improve with time £26.80.This gives a total £127.80 which in all fairness should have been treated in band 2 £73.50.I know you have an nhs prce stucture but feel you bend the rules somewhat.
